LED Strip lights Installation with controller (LED dimmers)
If you want to regulate the brightness of the LEDs, you have to connect a controller between the power supply and the LEDs. Most controllers can be conveniently controlled with remote control. Some also have buttons or knobs directly on the controller housing.
As always, it is important that the voltage range and maximum current match the LED installation.
RGB LED lights installation for color effects-RGB LED controllers
For color controllable RGB installations, you need appropriate controllers with at least 3 outputs, an RGB remote control, and suitable 4-wire cables to connect the RGB lights.
Add the power values of all colors to calculate the maximum total power and select a sufficiently dimensioned power supply.
With an RGBW solution, there is one more channel, so controllers with at least 4 outputs and 5-wire cables are necessary. All other specifications apply in the same way as for a single color solution.
